We are back on the road by 10am and heading to a spot where the PCT crosses the 2 highway about 3 miles from where we left the trail a couple days ago.
When we reached the trail we all thought that we were going to do a 20 mile day. Nope..
We did 6, none of us were feeling pushing huge miles right after a zero.
We did find a really beautiful campsite however.
After we ate dinner and started to wind down, a mountain lion began screaming in the valley about a quarter mile to our South. As the sun was setting it was very unnerving hearing her calls.
Soon there were a few other hikers pulling miles in the dark and they join us for the night.
Some funny stories were heard and we all crashed out not too much after sunset.
